Be mesmerized by the colourful scenery, enriched commentary and wildlife along the beautiful Balonne River, as you travel approx. 8km one way (approx. 1 hour) upstream then same downstream, taking in the local flora, fauna and cultural history of the area.
SRC operates 365 days pending weather and minimum passenger numbers (6 adults or the dollar value equivalent).
From April 1st through to Sept. 30th (our tourist season) SRC hosts 2 daily cruises, 11AM-1PM and 4-6PM that depart from the boat ramp. BYO drinks and nibbles. $45/adult, $25/child 14yo and under, pets allowed (must be on a leash) Please click on the ‘BOOK NOW’ Button.
For Tour Operators/Group bookings (minimum 16 passengers, maximum 27 passengers) 1 or 2 hour cruises can be booked with various departure times available! Refer to the ‘Timetable’.

“…and soon came upon the river, where it formed a noble reach of water…as fine a looking stream as I have seen in the colony, excepting only the Murray… raised my hopes that this river might be found to come from the NW, a direction it maintained for 5 miles. The breadth was uniform and the vast body of water a cheering site. The banks were 120 yards apart, the course in general was very straight, contributing much to the scenery upon it…”

Full Moon cruises conditions apply. Birdwatching tours. Over 230 species of bird can be found within a 100km radius of St George.
